I bought this sweater for my daughter for her first day of preschool, it’s so perfect! It fits well, it’s VERY well made and good quality. And, because of the various colorful art supplies embroidered in the pockets, it matches lots of outfits. Worth what it costs.Cute cardigan. My daughter loves it. Good quality knit with nice embroidery. I am not a fan of gathered sleeves at the shoulder, make it a little bulky looking in this fabric.My daughter is 5 and just started wearing size 5T. So, we ordered 5T and I find that this cardigan is a little too wide for her. Gymboree clothing sometimes runs large and I would say it is true for this garment. It is still cute and plenty of room to grow.This Gymboree Girls and Toddler Long Sleeve Cardigan is very nice. It reminds me a handmade lovely cardigan from my mom. It is made of 100% cotton, material is soft and pleasant to the touch. There is a lovely bright embroidery on the front as well. I am a little disappointed as the sweater is pretty short. It goes well with dresses or a pair of jeans.If anyone who has read my reviews for other Gymboree clothing will know that I'm trying to let people know that Gymboree needs to get their act together when it comes to the sizing of their clothes for little girls.They make them short and tight. Now you will say, hey mama why don't you just size up? My daughter who is almost 5 (still a month to go) is a tiny thing, she is below 20%tile for height and she's 12%tile for weight. If this is short on her then we have a much bigger issue.Now this is a cardigan, maybe that's just the style of it but I'm seeing a recurring pattern, all the Gymboree tops/shirts/blouses/dresses I've gotten for her have always been smaller. Size 6 is more like 4T but then the rest of the proportions like sleeves are out. Even with their pants, they are tight and uncomfortable.Lets get to the bottom of this parents.This cardigan is soft and stylish, I just wish it wasn't so short.This is one of the cutest sweaters I've gotten for my daughter! The pink is adorable, the artist supplies showing in the pockets is our favorite - she wants to be an artist so she loves it. It's a smaller/form-fitting fit so size up if you want it to be a little bigger/looser. The only complaint I have is that the top button is hard for 5 year olds to take off by themselves. Unfortunately my daughter, who is fine with doing most buttons/zippers, has a hard time with the top button as it is smaller/tighter than the others, so I do worry about her taking it to school and struggling when trying to take the sweater off during the day.This sweater is just too cute! I got it a size too big for my little one as it will be for next season. I can tell it will have a great fit though and honestly I can roll the sleeves up and use it on the chilly nights as they start soon. I love the cute embroidery details in the front pockets. They are crisp, clear and seem very well stitched. The sweater itself is a tighter knit which is perfect for prevention of snags which little ones would easily get running amok. It’s a nice weight sweater too. Obviously just a sweater won’t work in icy/snowy climates but this is perfect for our coastal Carolina fall weather and even some of our winter honestly. This sweater exceeded my expectations honestly. It’s well enough made I’ll easily be able to hand it down to someone for many more years of use too.We live where it’s pretty warm all year so in winter a sweater or sweatshirt is more than warm enough. Thought this would be a cute fall/winter sweater for baby girl. It did not disappoint. She’s beyond cute in it. Very well made. True to size. Seems comfy on her (she didn’t want to take it off).Gymboree has the cutest clothes IMO, and this artist-themed cardigan is adorable. The details of the art supplies popping out of the pockets are so sweet and very cute. It runs true-to-size, but I do feel the length is a smidge short, which might just be a toddler sizing thing since I ordered a 5T. Still, it fits very well and looks adorable. The material feels like nice quality too. Perfect for school!
